Anderson & Chhabra EyeCare Center has been taking care of Tampa Bay eyes for over a quarter of a century! Previously located on North Dale Mabry for 13 years, Anderson & Chaabra EyeCare Center moved to their current location on Fletcher Avenue in Tampa in December of 1996.

Received his Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston in 1980. He completed his disease residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1981. Dr. Anderson is a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry. He was also the director of Contact Lens and Low vision Clinics at the University of South Florida College of Medicine, Department of Ophthalmology from 1996 through 2018.
O.D., M.S., F.A.A.O., F.S.L.S. Received her Doctorate in Optometry, along with a masters in Vision Science from the Ohio State University in 2006. She finished her ocular disease residency from The Omni Eye Services in New Jersey in 2007 and her contact lens residency from Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2008. Dr. Chhabra is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the Scleral Lens Society. She is a Member of the American Academy of Orthokeratology and Myopia Control. Dr. Chhabra is an assistant professor in the Dept. of Ophthalmology at USF. She specializes in ocular diseases, specialty contact lens fittings, low vision, pediatrics (5 years old and above), myopia control and family eye care. Dr. Chhabra joined the practice in 2008.

Received his Doctorate in Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in 1988, and has been at the practice since 2001. He specializes in pediatrics (5 years old and above), soft contact lenes, specialty contact lens fittings and family eye care.

Received his Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 2016. He completed his residency in Primary Care and Brain Injury at the James A. Haley VA in 2017. Dr. Weisenberger is a Fellow and Diplomate of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Weisenberger is an Associate Professor in the Dept. of Ophthalmology at USF. He specializes in low vision, specialty contact lens fitting and primary eyecare. Dr. Weisenberger joined the practice in 2017.
